One with nature

I was able to get out into my yard twice last week. I was so excited to get out and get my hands dirty but then I saw the substantial amount of work that needed to be done. It's hard to get motivated when all I see is a huge mountain before me that I need to climb. I swear that last fall before I put my yard "to bed" I made sure all those nasty weeds where pull up. Can anyone tell me how weeds can continue to grow and flourish when it is 20 degrees out side? The good gardeners tell you to get out there in the early spring and get a head start on pulling all those weeds. How do you get a head start when they keep growing under the snow pack?
I guess Tomorrow is always a new day!
